"Salmo Creston Summit" by Randy Mckee @ British Columbia, Canada
These guys are working for the Swiss Army. They had to do patrol duties this January in the Prattigau Valley (Swiss alps) to protect power supply lines during the World Economic Forum in Davos. Due to the winter condition they used some snowmobiles for this patrols. They had to install extra equipment to fix their assault rifles during the rides and because their were not always improved tracks, they had to build some small wooden bridges on the uneven terrain! Every soldier was exited about those snowmobile patrols and wanted to become a rider! Lack of experience caused many (light) accidents (fortunately they were wearing motorcycle helmets and their protective vests...). After the end of the mission the snowmobiles were near-wrecked and the private owner presented an invoice for $ 5000!
